The Forum began in 2004 to provide a coherent voice for our local community.  Since then we have been involved in managing the Puhoi Pioneers Memorial Park, the riparian revegetation and the Puhoi River Walkway projects,  the Puhoi Wharf Project, the Puhoi Community Orchard project and roading issues including greater road safety in the village. 

We are the community point of contact for our local board, Auckland Council, NX2, Auckland Transport and NZTA / Waka Kotahi.

We liaise with these and with local organizations such as Restore Rodney East, the Forest Bridge Trust,  the Mahurangi Trail Society to provide a voice for Puhoi and its residents.

We support local community groups and provide a forum for these and a channel for coordination with other groups.

We welcome all members of the community to the Forum. Everyone can come to meetings and anyone who joins can vote on issues.
